What is the corporate program?
Posture is such an important part of performance that many companies are making it an integrated part of their office and paying for posture correction procedures for all of their employees.
Studies have shown that decreased stress and increased posture can save a company large amounts of time and income from lost productivity and decreased workers compensation claims.

What is Advanced Posture Correction?
Advanced Posture Correction is a science of correcting and training the muscles of the spine through Muscle Rebalancing and the adjusting of spinal joints through Chiropractic to maintain vertebral alignment. By strengthening muscles and providing proper function to the spinal vertebra an improved posture will be the result.
Correct posture affects basic body movement and can affect both work and play. Examples of some of the sports that use Advanced Posture Correction are: motor sports racing, bicycle riding, dancing, tennis, golf, handball, football, baseball, track, swimming and jogging. Proper posture maintains health and a steady flow of oxygen.
Our Advanced Posture Correction Program includes different services that affect your posture. Spinal Adjusting and Muscle Rebalancing are the two primary things we offer to correct posture. Our posture program is dynamic and we are always looking for new doctors and therapist that will bring additional insight and therapies to help our members on a path of constant and never ending body improvement.
What is Power Massage?
Power Massage is performed by trained Medical Assistants with the use of a powerful machine, called a trigger-point terminator that eliminates knots and trigger-points in the muscle tissue. Sessions only take a matter of minutes and leave you feeling like you just had a half hour massage.
The mechanism that releases the knot from the muscle is threshold mechanical stimulation. The muscle is mechanically stimulated with very fast non stopping motion. The problem in the muscle can not keep up with the intense stimulation and just melts away.
Does it hurt to get a Power Massage?
Power Massage dose not hurt. If fact it feels very similar to getting a regular massage. The muscles are stimulated at such a high speed that there is not enough time for the pain impulse to reach the brain before a second stimulation of the muscle occurs and over rides the previous pain signal.
What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a word that is readily heard but not very well understood.
In our office we use Chiropractic to increase the blood supply to the Vertebral Disc. In fact the popping noise you hear when getting adjusted is the sound of blood channels in the disc opening and allowing increased blood flow.
The disc is what puts pressure on the spinal nerve, so when the disc is functioning properly there is no pressure on the spinal nerve. A properly functioning disc also allows proper structure of the spine which in turn provides proper posture.
A simple saying that you may have heard explains this best. "Form follows function"

How do I book a massage and what is the cost?
Massages are by appointment only and are booked through Shauna at 858-605-1589 or shaunaprosser@gmail.com.
The cost is $35 for a half hour, $60 for an hour and $85 for an hour and half. Or join our Massage Club and pay even less.

All family plans include two adults living in the same house and all children under 18 yr.
How do I receive information regarding changing/canceling my membership?
You can download our cancellation form on the "New Patient" page of our website. Then you can send it in the mail (5450 Clairemont Mesa Blvd.-F, San Diego, CA. 92117), drop it by the office or scan and email it to Shauna at shaunaprosser@gmail.com.
